"I started my footballing journey when I was seven. It all began when I asked my Dad one day, 'What makes a sportsman?' He replied with, 'Someone who plays fair, tries his best, and treats everyone with respect, whether he wins or loses.' From then on, I built my life around these principles.My first playing season was in 22/23, training and playing for Burton Youth FC for around four hours a week. This continued throughout the whole season. Then, after a few training sessions back in the summer of 23, I realised the squad was being ruined by entering egos, so I left to train with Highcliffe Hawks. Until January 2024, I cleared my mind and set myself up for my footballing future.Then, I decided to push past the other players' egos and played for Burton Youth FC until May 2024. After that, I moved to Harpenden, Hertfordshire, and spent 26 months playing for Colts PDC and Kings Soccer School, as well as gaining my first school playing experience.After missing life by the coast, we moved back just a month ago. I have already completed five training sessions back at a more experienced Burton Youth side.I am a CM that is used to being deployed on the wing. I am now used to being taller than most kids. I have realised that I wasn't made to be a little, quick kid; instead, I use my size to form an unfair advantage. I am a perseverer, and nothing will ever change that."
